Projekte

Das Nationale Krebshilfe-Monitoring (NCAM) ist ein longitudinales Beobachtungsinstrument von Risikoverhaltensweisen, die mit der Entstehung von Hautkrebs in Verbindung gebracht werden. Insgesamt erstreckt sich das NCAM über acht bundesweit repräsentative Erhebungswellen. Im Fokus stehen das intentionale Bräunen in der natürlichen Sonne und im Solarium sowie die Nutzung von Sonnenschutzmaßnahmen. Dabei betrachten wir sowohl die Allgemeinbevölkerung als auch spezielle Subgruppen (z.B. Außenbeschäftigte). Gefördert wird das NCAM von der Stiftung Deutsche Krebshilfe.

UFair ist eine Mixed-Methods-Studie zur wahrgenommenen universitären Gerechtigkeit im Zusammenhang mit dem damit verbundenen Gesundheitsrisiko. Dabei wird das Konzept der organisationalen Gerechtigkeit auf den Kontext des Studiums übertragen und daran zielgruppenunterstützt angepasst. Ziel ist die Entwicklung eines validen und praktischen Erhebungsinstruments, welches den jeweiligen Gefährdungsgrad sowie den Zusammenhang mit verschiedenen Gesundheitsoutcomes erfasst. Gefördert wird UFair von der DFG.

NuPhA steht für „Nutrition and Physical Activity in Adolescence“ und ist eine Mixed-Methods-Studie zu Studierendengesundheit. Gefolgt von qualitativen, leitfadengestützten Interviews, wurde zunächst eine bundesweite Online-Befragung von Studierenden durchgeführt. Der Hauptfokus der Studie liegt auf dem Bewegungs- und Ernährungsverhalten. Zusätzlich wurden aber auch andere Gesundheitsparameter wie Einsamkeit und Stress (anhand des selbst entwickelten ERI-students) erhoben und dem Phänomen „Gesundheitliche Ungleichheit“ wurde in der zunächst homogen erscheinenden Gruppe Studierender nachgegangen.

Im Fokus der bisherigen Arbeit steht insbesondere der Übergang von der Schule auf die Hochschule und wie dieser sich auf Gesundheit und gesundheitsrelevantes Risikoverhalten auswirkt. Dabei werden nicht nur Vorher-Nachher-Betrachtungen angestellt, sondern es werden Gesundheitsverläufe analysiert.
